On behalf of the Connecticut Chapter of the ASMBS, we proudly announce the date for Obesity Summit 2027! We return to host our conference at Foxwoods Resort, in the Premier Ballroom, Fox Tower, on January 21-22, 2027. A block of discounted rate rooms is available for our guests, sponsors, and attendees in Fox Tower.

The Planning Committee is securing speakers and experts to provide a comprehensive program. Topics will include Optimizing Outcomes, with focus on the importance of comprehensive care, chronic disease management, collaboration vs. competition with bariatric and obesity medicine programs, treatments available now and in development, and the impact of emerging technology and AI, with benefits and impact for both patients and care providers. Since the inaugural meeting in 2018, the conference has grown from an event with just over 100 attendees to a robust, two-day program welcoming over 250 attendees from all over the country. It continues to be recognized as the premier meeting in Connecticut and surrounding states.  

Attendees and presenters include bariatric surgeons, obesity medicine specialists, advanced practice providers, dietitians, behavioral health specialists, patient advocates, nurses, administrators, and resident physicians. We look forward to two days of ground-breaking, innovative, thought-provoking presentations.

The meeting will offer up to 12 CME/CEU credits to attendees.
